Wool Dryer Balls - Moss Creek Wool Works

We recommend using 3 for a normal sized load and 6 for bulky items.

Replacing dryer sheets with wool dryer balls just make sense. They do everything that dryer sheets can do - without the chemicals, and they will save you money and waste! Not only are dyer balls completely compostable at the end of their life cycle (something that will not happen for 500+ loads),but they also reduce dry time by 10%, are anti-static, and naturally soften your clothing. By adding a few drops of your favourite essential oil (we recommend something like geranium, ylang, lavender or lemon) you can give your clothes a nice natural scent coming out of the dryer as well! 

No chemicals, perfumes or dyes are used to make wool dryer balls and each Moss Creek Wool Ball is hand crafted in Canada using only Merino, Polworth or Corriedale wool - depending on the colour of the ball. They use only sustainably sourced farms that do not practice mulesing and are tested to last for 500+ loads. Simply store them in your dryer between loads.

The colour does not affect the performance in any way and will not transfer to the clothes as it is the natural sheep's natural colour.

Pro-tip: If you notice your laundry is still static-y coming out of the dryer, try to avoid over drying. Synthetic fabrics tend to dry quicker than natural fabrics, and it is best to remove them from your dryer early.
