Yarn — Fairy Tale Wool

One-of-a-kind wool yarn , all-naturally dyed rainbow yarn. Each batch will have colour variations.

Heavy wool/ alpaca or llama blend, 9mm, 100 grams/ 3.5 oz, 90 meters/ 94 yards 

Kid mohair/ silk blend, lace weight, 25 grams/ 0.9 oz, 210 meter/ 230 yards, 

All dyeing is being done with natural dye substances such as onion skins, madder root, annatto seed, indigo, logwood, fustic, osage, sander wood, marigold, henna, walnut hulls, rhubarb root, cocheneal and lac. We dye in small batches of 500g, and shades can be subject to slight variations due to seasonally changing ph in our wonderful water on the Sunshine Coast, BC, Canada.
