Join us for an evening of old fashioned textile practices and fabric repurposing with textile artist, Lisa Marchant!

We'll learn the skills to upcycle rags and old fabrics into beautiful and functional items like a string bag or a hand sewn basket.

When: Thursday May 18. 7:00-8:30 PM

Where: Peterborough Location, 418 George St. N.

What to Bring:

- If you have any scrap fabric, rags, or clothing that's no longer usable (but you don't want to throw in the trash!!) feel free to bring some to share or for your own project! Even plastic bags and wire, we'll get creative! We'll be creating some amazing projects from scraps so bring some if you have any.

- Bring a needle and regular sewing thread or embroidery floss if you have them. We'll have some to share as well if you don't have any.

- Bring your own mug for 15% off a hot drink during the workshop!
