Use them for:
The main purpose of reusable beeswax wraps is to preserve food, but you are only limited by your creativity! Some common uses include:

  • cheese
  • fruits + veggies herbs
  • cover bowls + plates
  • sandwiches
  • snacks

How do I clean/care for them?
Wash with cool, soapy water. Do not heat.

1. WIPE GENTLY OR RINSE IN SOAPY COOL WATER
To make your beeswax wrap last for as long as possible be sure to wipe them when possible or gently rinse them in cool water with mild dish soap. Do not use hot water as it can cause the wax to breakdown and separate from the fabric.

2. Do Not Microwave
Do not microwave your wraps as it can cause the wax to melt.
3. Let Food Cool
If your leftovers or baked goods are still warm be sure to let them cool before covering or wrapping.
4. Cover Bowls And Dishes At Room Temperature
It is most effective to cover bowls or dishes when they are room temperature and not cold. If a bowl has been in the fridge and you try to cover it with your beeswax wrap your wrap may not stick as well as you would like it to.
5. Storing
There are many ways to store however we suggest folding neatly and placing in a drawer or basket on your counter.  You can also roll and keep in mason jars or containers as well.
6. BEE KIND
Take care of them and they will keep your food fresh.

How long do they last?
For the average person about a year is typical, however it is not unusual for them to last far longer.

What do I do with them after?
When they loose their stickiness, you can use them like a wax paper. Once they're beyond the point of no return, you can compost them or use them as fire starters.

What size do I need?
Smalls are great for small produce like lemons, avocados or covering small jars. Mediums are versatile and can be used for larger produce, blocks of cheese or to cover small bowls and plates of leftovers. Larges are perfect for making snack packs, covering mid-sized baking dishes, wrapping larger blocks of cheese or remnants of bread.

How do I get the beeswax food wrap to stick?
In order to "activate" the wrap and to get it to be at it's prime "stickiness", use the heat of your hands to help it stick to the edge of whatever surface you're trying to adhere it to or to itself.

Enjoy! You'll never need plastic wraps again!
